The Home Buyers Round Table of Dane County could not deliver services without our sponsors. With their support, we provide free Home Buyer Education classes to Dane County residents, partner residents with the right professionals, and deliver ongoing education.

Dane County offers financial aid programs for low- and moderate-income residents looking to
buy their first home and for existing homeowners through partner agencies. These programs are
made possible by HUD-granted Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment
Partnerships Program funds.

Major Home Rehabilitation Loan: Eligible homeowners can apply and may receive a
loan up to $24,999 at 0% interest, with a lifetime limit of $100,000. These loans enable
eligible homeowners to undertake major home repair or renovation projects with ease.

ensure that homeowners in Dane County have the opportunity to create a safe and thriving
community.

Mortgage Reduction Assistance: Eligible potential homeowners can apply for 0%
interest, deferred loans. These loans are to help low- and moderate-income households
purchase their first home in Dane County.

Minor Home Repair Grants: Eligible homeowners can apply and may receive up to
$7,500 per project, with a lifetime limit of $20,000. These grants are ideal for addressing
minor issues such as broken windows or faulty electrical systems.
